Yes and no in the Bahamas....
Most LGBT visitors will be met with smiles and pleasantries, but usually their own get ostracized to an extent due to mostly religious reasonings.
LGBT is cute when it benefits a cause (mostly during political season) and to fire and brimstone when not.
Its considered a family oriented nation meaning whatever you do, doesn't reflect on you but on your own kin.
Weirdly enough, the island nation would probably be one of the last countries in the world to legalize same sex marriage.
They do have somewhat, a protective legislation in place for offenses dealing with LGBT prejudices though.

I suspected it might as it shares it's history like Canada's as being part of the Commonwealth. Tourism won't want to sour the experience or any LGBT tourist, especially since our community has buying power of almost 4 Trillion ($4,000,000,000,000.00) dollars world wide

My mother Portuguese and Aboriginal and English is from British Guyana, So the West-Indian mentality towards gay and religion was there. However, She being such an odd duck decided to only cling to parts of the Old Testament: basically the Ten Commandments. She feels just in loving me, because she feels that was the only time that God actually spoke, according to Her. She feels that all other books by prophets comes down to Men, bullying their way into memory by making stuff up to justify their part of their contributions to this fabulous fictional work. She and I don't share the same beliefs, but meh, if it works for her and she'll still slave over a hot stove and make a great cup of tea, why should I complain? Kinda like how I justify to kids about the existence ot Santa: " why would I question a man who gives me gifts each Christmas and all I have to do is believe he exists?" Kids can't argue with that one. Or the Tooth Fairy: "Yeah kids, you have to tell your folks that you lost a tooth because to be honest, she's sweet and all, but the tooth fairy is a bit of a ditz"Telling their parents means that she'll actually show up

Yes it is. But marriage and laws preventing or punishing discrimination based on sexual orientation are still a long way ahead.
